Cool Colors. Blues, greens, and purples are considered cool colors. They appear on one side of the color wheel, opposite the warm colors. Psychologically, cool colors are said to be calming and depressive. Optically, they appear to recede: in aerial perspective cool colors are said to move away from you. |
